L’initiative de passerelle en ligne en informatique est une nouvelle approche pour créer une passerelle pour l’obtention du diplôme qui mise sur les relations de travail et les passerelles existantes entre l’Université de Windsor et le St. Clair College.

Le programme offre une passerelle flexible, axée sur l’étudiant et efficace afin que les apprenants obtiennent plusieurs crédits, améliorant ainsi leur employabilité.

Programme d’obtention du diplôme B. Sc. A. en études de la petite enfance

Le projet a pour objectif de convertir le programme d’obtention du diplôme de baccalauréat ès sciences appliquées (B. Sc. A.) en études de la petite enfance déjà existant en un format entièrement en ligne.

L’Université de Guelph dirige le projet et se base sur la collaboration fructueuse de longue date entre l’Université de Guelph, l’Université de Guelph-Humber et l’Institut de technologie et d’apprentissage avancé (Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning) du Humber College.

Certificat collégial en sciences infirmières de néphrologie

Le certificat en sciences infirmières de néphrologie comprend sept cours. Les diplômés seront bien préparés pour passer l’examen de certification de spécialiste de l’Association canadienne des infirmières/iers de néphrologie.

La collaboration existante entre Conestoga et le programme rénal intégré de Waterloo Wellington garantit que les étudiants diplômés sont préparés à devenir des professionnels dans le domaine des sciences infirmières de néphrologie.

Organisation de bureau — volet juridique

Le Collège loyaliste en collaboration avec le Collège algonquin et le Northern College développent le premier diplôme collégial d’Ontario en organisation de bureau — volet juridique entièrement en ligne. Le programme entièrement en ligne est conçu pour les étudiants qui souhaitent poursuivre leurs études dans ce domaine, mais qui ne sont pas en mesure d’étudier à temps plein ou en présentiel.

Certificat de cycle supérieur en psychologie industrielle et organisationnelle

Le certificat de cycle supérieur en psychologie industrielle et organisationnelle est un nouveau programme en ligne proposé à l’Université de Windsor afin d’offrir des connaissances poussées dans le domaine de la psychologie industrielle et organisationnelle, notamment pour les professionnels canadiens en ressources humaines.

Le programme est conçu pour offrir une connaissance spécialisée avec une perspective en psychologie aux étudiants détenant un baccalauréat ou aux les professionnels en RH.

Diplôme de cycle supérieur en sciences de la santé et réadaptation

La faculté des sciences de la santé de l’Université de Western Ontario, en collaboration avec celle de l’Université d’Ottawa et celles des sciences de l’activité physique et des sciences infirmières de l’Université de Windsor, développent un nouveau diplôme de cycle supérieur en sciences de la santé et réadaptation entièrement en ligne.

Le projet implique à la fois la conception du nouveau programme et la création de treize cours. L’initiative se concentrera dans un premier temps sur :

1. Les apprenants professionnels employés dans le secteur de la santé.
2. Les diplômés de programmes post-secondaires (PPS) en sciences de la santé à la recherche de PPS supplémentaires.

Diplôme en chimie des matériaux et nanoscience

Le diplôme en chimie des matériaux et nanoscience est un nouveau programme de premier cycle offert à l’Université de Windsor. Il est le fruit de la collaboration entre la faculté des sciences (département de chimie et biochimie) et la faculté des sciences de l’ingénieur (département de génie mécanique et des procédés).

Ce nouveau programme palpitant:

1. Fait partie d’une expansion majeure en chimie des matériaux à l’université qui comprend également le lancement à venir de programmes de premier cycle en chimie des matériaux.
2. Est complémentaire au développement d’une nouvelle maîtrise en génie des matériaux et chimie conjointement avec le génie mécanique et des procédés au cours des deux prochaines années.

Développeur d’apprentissage en ligne

Le programme de développeur d’apprentissage en ligne répond à la demande croissante d’expertise, tant technologique que pédagogique, en création de programmes en ligne. Considérant que le domaine de l’enseignement en ligne continue de croître et de s’affiner, ce certificat répond à la demande du marché actuel et à venir.

Suivre ce programme peut être bénéfique pour les éducateurs, les formateurs, les concepteurs pédagogiques et les administrateurs. Il convient autant à l’éducateur traditionnel qu’à toute personne dans l’industrie amenée à créer des documents en ligne.

Maîtrise professionnelle en études spatiales

Le Centre des sciences et de l’exploration des planètes de l’Université de Western Ontario développe une nouvelle maîtrise professionnelle en études spatiales en ligne. Le projet s’appuie sur l’expansion rapide du secteur spatial civil ainsi que sur la frénésie entourant l’exploration de l’espace à l’échelle internationale.

Il s’agit du premier diplôme de deuxième cycle au Canada à :

1. Apporter une approche interdisciplinaire aux études spatiales.
2. Offrir une voie pour que ceux souhaitant faire carrière dans l’industrie croissante de l’espace plutôt qu’en recherche universitaire puissent poursuivre leurs études.

Certificat en compétences de recherche avancées

Le projet consiste à développer un nouveau programme de certificat entièrement en ligne en compétences en recherche avancées à partir de l’automne 2017. Le modèle de cours entièrement en ligne rend ce programme innovant accessible à des apprenants de toutes les disciplines en Ontario et au Canada.

À notre connaissance, il s’agit du premier certificat inter et pluridisciplinaire en compétences en recherche. Ce cours inédit :

1. Reconnaît la capacité qu’a l’apprenant de construire son propre apprentissage.
2. Crée des occasions d’apprentissage autodidacte.
3. Est indexée sur l’approche pédagogique d’apprentissage par investigation.

Certificat en actions et engagements mondiaux (CMEG)

Le projet consiste à développer un nouveau certificat en actions et engagements mondiaux (AMEM) de premier cycle entièrement en ligne, ainsi que trois cours essentiels. Le tout sera proposé à partir de l’automne 2018.

Le format entièrement en ligne rend ce programme innovant :

1. Accessible aux apprenants partout en Ontario et au Canada.
2. Idéal pour obtenir un titre reconnu démontrant des compétences interculturelles, une créativité intellectuelle et des compétences de résolution de problème collaborative.
3. En fournissant des normes de compétences permettant de travailler ou de faire du bénévolat dans des situations mondiales complexes.

Certificat d’études collégiales supérieures d’Ontario en pratiques correctionnelles avancées pour populations complexes

Les populations de délinquants d’aujourd’hui comprennent celles caractérisées par au moins un des descripteurs suivants :

1. Transgenre
2. Bispirituel
3. Souffrant de problèmes ou de maladies mentaux
4. Souffrant d’un traumatisme
5. Souffrant de consommation
6. Femme, jeune, autochtone, personne de couleur
7. Souffrant de dépendances ou âgé

Étant donné que notre population de délinquants fédérale ou provinciale est devenue plus complexe, le besoin d’une capacité de main d’œuvre plus ciblée a augmenté, à la fois pour ceux désirant travailler dans les services correctionnels, que pour ceux y travaillant déjà et pour les agents de libération conditionnelle.

L’objectif de ce projet est de créer un certificat d’études collégiales supérieures de l’Ontario en anglais et en français axé particulièrement sur les stratégies de travail avec des populations de délinquants complexes.

Diplôme en politique publique et en évaluation de programme

Le projet convertit le programme existant, diplôme en politique publique et en évaluation de programme (DEP), en un programme entièrement en ligne.

Le nouveau programme offre une possibilité flexible pour les professionnels d’améliorer leurs connaissances et leurs compétences. Ces professionnels ne pourraient pas assister à des cours en présentiel sur le campus, étant donné la distance et leur emploi du temps chargé.

Diplôme en promotion de la condition physique et de la santé

Un partenariat stratégique entre le Seneca College, le Collège Algonquin, le Lambton College et le Conestoga College permettent le développement d’un diplôme collégial d’Ontario en en promotion de la condition physique et de la santé (PCPS).

Le nouveau diplôme est :

1. Composé de 23 cours, parmi lesquels six ont été développés en format en ligne (grâce à un financement antérieur d’eCampusOntario).
2. Une excellente combinaison de compétences de base et de connaissances interdisciplinaires applicables à la promotion de la condition physique et de la santé dans de nombreux milieux – centres de condition physique des enfants, jeunes et adultes, centres pour anciens.
3. Offert via OntarioLearn.

Le programme est conçu avec une approche innovante de la pédagogie, du service aux étudiants et de la technologie en ligne. La maîtrise en sécurité publique est offerte exclusivement et entièrement en ligne et est pensée pour les étudiants adultes et au travail.

Une approche d’apprentissage constructiviste permet aux apprenants adultes de :

1. Bâtir sur les compétences déjà acquises.
2. Profiter de la liberté de se consacrer à ses intérêts personnels.
3. Tirer parti du soutien d’une communauté en ligne d’apprenants.
4. Accéder à du contenu pertinent et conçu pour l’implication!

Baccalauréat spécialisé en administration des affaires (gestion des commerces)

Le baccalauréat spécialisé en administration des affaires (gestion des commerces) est un nouveau programme de quatre ans entièrement en ligne permettant :

1. D’améliorer les compétences développées lors de la formation d’apprenti ou de compagnon.
2. De se concentrer sur les compétences actuellement en demande et nécessaires pour les gens de métier souhaitant obtenir des responsabilités plus importantes.
3. De soutenir ceux effectuant des tâches de gestion dans les organisations moyennes ou larges.

Programme de maîtrise de sciences physiques basé sur des cours en ligne

Le projet consiste à convertir le programme de maîtrise de sciences physiques traditionnel existant de l’Université de Windsor, de type présentiel, en un programme en ligne menant à un diplôme de maîtrise en sciences en 16 mois.

Trois partenaires institutionnels s’associent afin de créer une banque de cours en ligne, grâce à une entente d’articulation nommée « réseau d’enseignement de la physique d’Ontario (Ontario Physics Education Network) » (REPO).

Les accords sont mis en place afin de transférer des crédits entre les établissements, permettant de terminer les cours de maîtrise en ligne.

Le programme consiste à convertir le programme d’obtention de baccalauréat en sciences appliquées en services sociaux communautaires et familiaux en un format entièrement en ligne.

L’Université de Guelph dirige le projet et se base sur la collaboration fructueuse de longue date entre l’Université de Guelph, l’Université de Guelph-Humber et l’institut de technologie et d’apprentissage avancé (Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning) du Humber College.

Un programme passerelle en ligne collaborative entre le diplôme de technicien en génie informatique et le baccalauréat en informatique

Le programme consiste à créer un programme passerelle en informatique entièrement en ligne afin de permettre aux étudiants provenant du programme de technicien en génie informatique d’un établissement d’enseignement supérieur d’Ontario de se préparer à intégrer le baccalauréat en informatique.

Actuellement, il n’existe pas de mécanisme entièrement en ligne permettant aux apprenants de passer facilement du collège à l’université dans ce domaine de manière continue.

Maîtrise en leadership de la terre et des ressources énergétiques

Le projet consiste à développer 3 cours pour la nouvelle maîtrise en leadership de la terre et des ressources énergétiques (MLTRE), accessibles à partir de janvier 2017.

La MLTRE est un programme d’études supérieures à temps partiel entièrement en ligne mis en place par le département des sciences géologiques et du génie géologique de l’Université Queen’s qui :

1. Mise sur les atouts largement reconnus de la faculté d’arts et sciences, de droit, de l’école de commerce Smith, de l’école d’études politiques et du département d’économie de l’Université Queen’s.
2. Travaille de concert avec l’industrie afin d’offrir des cours mettant en œuvre une approche interdisciplinaire axée sur la prise de décision liée aux ressources.
3. Peut être exploitée par ceux travaillant dans le domaine des ressources naturelles, des politiques et des règlements.

Diplôme de spécialisation en études circumpolaires de l’Université Trent

L’objectif de ce projet innovant est :

1. De redévelopper les cours existants à Trent et d’offrir un nouveau conditionnement et de nouvelles possibilités de fourniture de ceux-ci aux établissements d’enseignement supérieur d’Ontario dans le cadre de leurs formations sur l’Arctique.
2. D’offrir un diplôme en études circumpolaires complet de cinq crédits entièrement en ligne.

Le diplôme en ligne peut être utilisé en tant que base pour un semestre d’études à l’étranger à l’University of the Arctic, comme certificat supplémentaire pour les étudiants post-secondaires de programmes tels qu’études environnementales, études autochtones, études canadiennes, anthropologie, études politiques, ou encore histoire et géographie.

Dépendance et santé mentale – Certificat d’études collégiales supérieures de l’Ontario

L’objectif principal de ce projet est :

1. De convertir le certificat DPSM donné en présentiel en une expérience d’apprentissage flexible, totalement accessible et en ligne.
2. De travailler en partenariat avec le St. Lawrence College et le Collège algonquin.
3. D’utiliser des technologies de pointe, de mettre les contenus à jour et de commencer des activités d’apprentissage différentiées afin de former les étudiants à fournir des services efficaces de santé mentale et concernant les dépendances en première ligne.

Diplôme universitaire supérieur en gestion des risques climatiques

Le diplôme universitaire supérieur en gestion des risques climatiques (DES GRC) :

1. Est conçu comme un diplôme individuel à intégration directe entièrement en ligne de type 3.
2. Répond aux besoins des professionnels débutants ou en milieu de carrière impliqués dans la gestion des risques liés au changement climatique ou dans l’adaptation à ces risques dans le cadre de leurs tâches.
3. Se compose de quatre cours pouvant être réussis en aussi peu qu’un an.
4. Se distingue en étant le seul diplôme universitaire supérieur de ce type au Canada.

Enseignement des jeunes enfants – certificat d’études collégiales supérieures de l’Ontario en consultation de ressources

Il s’agit d’un partenariat multiannuel stratégique entre le Sececa College et le Conestoga College qui :

1. Se concrétise en un nouveau programme entièrement en ligne.
2. Offre un certificat d’études collégiales supérieures de l’Ontario en consultation de ressources – enseignement des jeunes enfants reflétant les nouvelles normes du ministère, mandatées par la province.
3. Intègre des résultats d’apprentissage de programme et de cours significativement améliorés.
4. Le certificat universitaire se compose de sept cours. Deux d’entre eux ont été développés par le Seneca College grâce à un financement antérieur d’eCampusOntario.
5. Le programme confère des compétences supérieures et une connaissance interdisciplinaire applicable à de nombreux environnements en enseignement des jeunes enfants, secteur de la consultation de ressources.

Certificat en entrepreneuriat et en innovation de l’Université Queen’s (CEIQ)

Le projet consiste à développer un nouveau programme de certificat entièrement en ligne en innovation et entrepreneuriat à partir de l’automne 2018.

Il s’agit d’une initiative universitaire collaborative unique réunissant des participants de 9 facultés, écoles, départements et unités de service de l’Université Queen’s afin de développer, concevoir et offrir le programme.

Décoration d’intérieur, certificat d’études collégiales de l’Ontario

Le certificat d’études collégiales de l’Ontario en décoration d’intérieur se compose de douze cours. Le cours d’introduction à la décoration d’intérieur a été fondé grâce au Fonds pour le partage des cours en ligne (Shared Online Course Fund, SOCF) en 2015 et le cours de théorie des couleurs a été refondu par le Sheridan College en 2016.

Grâce au soutien d’eCampusOntario, le financement des dix cours restants est effectué afin de mettre en place le premier certificat d’études collégiales de l’Ontario en décoration d’intérieur en mars 2018.

Ce programme est un diplôme d’études collégiales de l’Ontario complet offrant aux gens de métier possédant leur certificat de qualification professionnelle dans leur domaine la possibilité de développer les compétences nécessaires à la planification et à la gestion d’une entreprise.

Doctorat en science – Réadaptation et leadership en santé

Le projet consiste à développer le nouveau doctorat en science en réadaptation et leadership en santé (DSc RLS) et 4 cours supplémentaires au sein de ce programme.

Le Dsc (RLS) est un doctorat professionnel formant des « leaders diplômés ».

Recherche et analyse appliquées : Politique publique en santé

Ce projet multi-annuel a pour but :

1. D’exploiter l’expertise interdisciplinaire du Centre for Community Research Learning and Action (CCRLA) (centre pour l’apprentissage et l’action communautaire) et de l’Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy (LISPOP) (institut d’étude des opinions et politiques publiques) de l’Université Wilfrid-Laurier, ainsi que du Centre of Innovation and Excellence in Advancing Healthy Communities (centre d’innovation et d’excellence en amélioration des communautés en santé) du Conestoga College.
2. De créer six programmes de cours offrant un certificat d’études collégiales, inédit dans le système post-secondaire et universitaire d’Ontario.
3. De fournir une concentration unique sur la responsabilité partagée du soutien de l’analyse formelle de la recherche en politique publique en santé.

Maîtrise en surveillance et évaluation de l’environnement (MSEE)

Actuellement, il n’existe pas suffisamment de programmes de cycle supérieur pour les étudiants souhaitant une formation en sciences environnementales.

Ceci est particulièrement vrai pour les programmes en ligne, même si les cours donnés de cette manière ont démontré leur efficacité et leur flexibilité, en particulier pour les personnes qui n’auraient pas directement accès à des cours traditionnels.

Les programmes de maîtrise en surveillance et évaluation de l’environnement (MSEE) et de diplôme en surveillance et évaluation de l’environnement (DSEE) proposés à l’Université Trent contribuent à combler ce manque important.

Certificat en conception pédagogique

Ce partenariat stratégique en Seneca, St. Lawrence et La Cité conduit à :

1. Un nouveau programme en conception pédagogique fourni en ligne, à la fois en français et en anglais.
2. Un ensemble de 8 cours prodiguant des compétences de base et une connaissance interdisciplinaire en conception pédagogique.
3. Une concentration sur le développement de matériel pédagogique prévu pour les environnements en ligne.

Analyse des données pour analyse des affaires

Trois collèges développent un programme de certificat de premier cycle d’Ontario dans un secteur en forte demande : l’analyse des données pour analyse des affaires, et développe les douze cours au sein de la structure multi-annuelle.

Le programme d’analyse des données pour analyse des affaires est :

1. Offert en format temps partiel, entièrement en ligne et en livraison asynchrone.
2. Une possibilité pour les étudiants d’effectuer le certificat entier depuis leur communauté locale, sans barrière géographique.
3. Fourni au moyen du consortium OntarioLearn. Le programme est disponible non seulement dans les collèges participants, mais également à tous les autres collèges d’Ontario (24 établissements en tout).

Études en formation post-secondaire

Se basant sur le succès du programme de baccalauréat de trois ans en formation des adultes offert à la Brock university, ce programme :

1. Offre aux apprenants la possibilité de passer un examen particulier en formation post-secondaire.
2. Permet aux étudiants d’obtenir un baccalauréat spécialisé en formation des adultes avec spécialisation en études en formation post-secondaire, ou encore un certificat en études en formation post-secondaire.

Certificat professionnel collaboratif inter-professionnel pour diplômés en soins complexes à long terme en ligne

Le programme de certificat proposé :

1. Se concentre sur la préparation des fournisseurs de soins de santé diplômés à travailler de manière inter-professionnelle avec des clients et des familles nécessitant des soins complexes et à long terme, dans un établissement ou à domicile.
2. Mettre en place des compétences et des ressources humaines dans les communautés plus petites et rurales pour les clients nécessitant des soins intensifs.
3. Impliquer une collaboration interdisciplinaire entre deux instituts universitaires (collège et université) et une organisation de services de soins de santé.

Certificat en relations de travail (CRTRAV)

Le projet consiste à refondre un programme de certificat en relations de travail afin qu’il puisse être entièrement donné en ligne à partir de l’été 2018.

Le projet réunit deux universités et des participants de plusieurs facultés, écoles, départements et programmes de l’Université de Queen’s afin de concevoir, développer et offrir le programme.

La Cité (three sectors), in partnership with Collège Boréal, wishes to develop a new program in Project Management.

The two colleges take pride in their proposal to develop an entirely online and local certificate, including courses which can be funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The certificate will consist of a common core and three specializations: Construction, IT and Event Project Management.

Certificate in English-French Translation

The Certificate in Translation initiates the student to professional translation of English into French. This program aims to give Francophones a strong university education for which the written language is indispensable to their profession; it also aims to provide a methodological and practical initiation to those who wish to become professional specialists in translation from English to French.

Management of Childcare Services

La Cité (two sectors), in partnership with Collège Boréal, wishes to make the post-graduate certificate in Management of Childcare Services completely online. The course was originally launched during the two preceding rounds of financing for the Shared Online Course Fund.

La Cité and Collège Boréal have already digitized 360 hours of coursework out of the 555 hours included in this post-graduate course.

French for Professionals Certificate

This project proposes the development of a new, fully online undergraduate certificate in French for Professionals, to be launched in Fall 2018.

In Canada, new graduates, professionals and other job-seekers who can communicate effectively in French as a Second Language (FSL) are more likely to be successfully employed in bilingual workplaces (Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development, 2016).

The goal of this new certificate program is to enable learners of French as a Second Language to develop and enhance language skills to work in bilingual professional environments such as healthcare, government, law and other industries.

Online Computer Science Pathway Initiative

The Online Computer Science Pathway Initiative is a new approach to an articulation/degree completion pathway leveraging existing working relationships and pathways between the University of Windsor and St Clair College.

The program will offer a flexible, student‐focused, efficient pathway for learners to gain multiple credentials that will enhance their employability.

Early Childhood Studies Degree Completion BASc Program

This project seeks to convert the existing Early Childhood Studies Degree Completion Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) program into to a fully online format.

The University of Guelph will lead the project and build on the successful, longstanding collaboration between University of Guelph, University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.

Nephrology Nursing, College Certificate

The Nephrology Nursing Certificate is comprised of seven courses. Graduates will be well prepared to write the Canadian Nurses Association’s specialty certification exam in nephrology nursing.

Conestoga’s existing collaboration with the Waterloo Wellington Integrated Renal Program will ensure that graduating students are prepared to be workforce ready in the field of nephrology nursing.

Loyalist College, in collaboration with Algonquin College and Northern College, will develop the first fully online Office Administration – Legal Ontario College diploma. The fully online program is designed for students who wish to pursue this field of study, however are unable to study full time or in class.

Graduate Certificate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology

The Graduate Certificate in Industrial and Organisational Psychology is a new online program proposed at the University of Windsor to provide advanced knowledge in the field of industrial and organisation psychology, particularly for Canadian Human Resource Professionals.

The program is designed to provide students who have a degree, or who are working as HR professionals, with specialist knowledge from a psychological perspective.

Graduate Diploma in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, and the Faculties of Human Kinetics and Nursing at the University of Windsor, will develop a new, fully online Graduate Diploma in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

The project will involve both the design of the new program and the development of thirteen courses. The initiative will focus initially on:

1. Professional learners who are employed in the health sector
2. Graduates of health-sciences post-secondary education (PSE) programs who are seeking additional PSE.

The Diploma in Materials Chemistry and Nanoscience is a new online undergraduate program proposed at the University of Windsor as a collaboration between the Faculty of Science (Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry) and the Faculty of Engineering (Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering).

This exciting new program will be:

Professional Masters in Space Studies

The Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration at Western University will develop a new online Professional Masters in Space Studies. The project builds upon the rapid expansion of the commercial space sector, and the excitement surrounding space exploration internationally.

This would be the first professional degree in Canada to:

1. Bring an interdisciplinary approach to space studies
2. Provide an avenue for continued study for those who intend to seek a career in the growing Space industry, rather than in academia.

Certificate in Advanced Research Skills

The project will develop a new, fully online certificate program in advanced research skills, to be launched in Fall 2017. The fully online delivery model will make this innovative program accessible to learners from all disciplines in Ontario and across Canada.

To our knowledge, it is the first interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research skills certificate. This groundbreaking course will:

1. Recognize the ability of the learner to construct her or his own learning
2. Create opportunities for self-directed learning

Global Action and Engagement Certificate (GAEC)

The project will develop a new, fully online undergraduate Global Action and Engagement Certificate (GAEC), along with three core courses, to launch in Fall 2018.

The fully online delivery model will make this innovative program:

1. Accessible to learners across Ontario and Canada
2. An ideal way to earn a recognized credential that demonstrates cross-cultural competencies, intellectual creativity, and collaborative problem solving skills

Advanced Correctional Practice for Complex Populations: Ontario College Graduate Certificate

Today’s complex offender population includes those who could be characterized by at least one of the following descriptors:

1. Transgendered
2. Two-spirited
3. Experiencing mental health issues or chronically ill
4. Impacted by trauma
5. Has substance abuse issues or addictions
6. Female, youth, Indigenous, person of colour
7. Of senior age

As our federal and provincial offender populations have become more complex, the need for more targeted workforce capacity has grown, both for those who desire to enter the corrections services workforce, as well as those employed as correctional officers, community corrections workers, and parole officers.

The goal of this project is to create an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in both English and French, focused specifically on strategies for working with complex offender populations.

This project converts the existing program – Diploma in Public Policy and Program Evaluation (DPE) – to a fully online delivery format.

This project will convert the existing Family and Community Social Services Degree Completion, Bachelor of Applied Science program to a fully online format.

The University of Guelph will lead the project and build on the successful, longstanding collaboration between University of Guelph, University of Guelph-Humber and Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.

Online Course-Based Masters of Science in Physics program

This project will convert an existing, on-campus, course-based Masters of Science in Physics at the University of Windsor into an online program leading to a M.Sc. degree in 16 months.

Three institutional partners will create a pool of online courses under an articulation agreement called ‘Ontario Physics Education Network’ (OPEN).

Agreements will be set up for credit transfers between institutions, allowing for completion of the online course-based Masters.

A Collaborative Online Bridging Program from Computer Engineering Technician Diploma Programs to a Bachelor of Computer Science

This program will create a fully online Computer Science bridging program for students to ladder from Computer Engineering Technician diploma programs at Ontario Colleges to a Bachelor of Computer Science degree program.

Currently there is no fully online mechanism for learners to move between the College and University seamlessly in this sector.

This project will develop three courses for the new online Master of Earth and Energy Resources Leadership (MEERL) to be launched in January 2017.

MEERL is a part-time, course-based, graduate program introduced by the Department of Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at Queen’s that:

1. Capitalizes on Queen’s widely recognized strengths in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Law, the Smith School of Business, the School of Policy Studies and the Department of Economics
2. Works with industry to deliver courses that take an interdisciplinary approach focused on resource-related decision-making
3. Can be leveraged by those working in natural resources, policy, and regulation

The purpose of this innovative project will be to:

1. Redevelop existing Trent courses and offer new packaging and delivery options for University of the Arctic curriculum for Ontario’s post-secondary institutions

The online diploma may be used as the foundation for a study abroad semester with the University of the Arctic, and as a supplementary certificate for post-secondary students studying in programs such as Environmental Studies, Indigenous Studies, Canadian Studies, Anthropology, Political Studies, History or Geography.

Interior Decorating, Ontario College Certificate

The Interior Decorating Ontario College Certificate is comprised of 12 courses. Introduction to Interior Decorating was funded through the Shared Online Course Fund (SOCF) in 2015, while the Colour Theory course was redesigned by Sheridan College in 2016.

With support from eCampusOntario, funding for the remaining ten courses will be delivered to launch the first fully online Interior Decorating Ontario College Certificate by March 2018.

The proposed Masters of Environmental Monitoring and Assessment (MEMA) and the Diploma (DEMA) programs at Trent University will help address this deficiency.

2. An opportunity for students to complete the entire certificate in their local community with no geographic barriers
