eCampusOntario Announces the VLS Collection Open House

Collaborative, learner-driven, high-quality, digital-by-design materials for all Ontario learners and educators, now and into the future. 

eCampusOntario announced today its first VLS Collection Open House, a week-long event showcasing the hundreds of new resources in the Open Library catalogue produced through the Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS). To be held on May 2-6, 2022, the virtual event will also demonstrate how to access the VLS and Ontario Exchange (OEX) Collections.

The VLS Collection is the result of a historic investment by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) intended to drive growth and advancement in virtual learning across the province’s postsecondary institutions. This collection provides eligible Ontario educators and learners with access to free high-quality online educational resources that support hybrid learning, while enabling pathways toward flexible lifelong learning and supporting system-wide collaboration.
